The upcoming Season 13 of The Real Housewives of Atlanta will feature Porsha Williams' arrests while peacefully protesting. TMZ first reported the news that Porsha's work as an activist is set to be included in the upcoming season of RHOA.

Porsha is seeking justice and has been protesting on the behalf of the late Breonna Taylor, who, according to NBC News, was shot and killed by Louisville police in her home on March 13. Porsha was first arrested in Louisville, Kentucky on July 14 while protesting at the home of Kentucky Attorney General Daniel Cameron and was later released from police custody. She was arrested again in Louisville on August 25; she has since been released.

Filming for Season 13 is currently underway with protocols and extra precautions in place amid the pandemic, TMZ further reports. The conversation around social injustice will be a big topic of discussion for the cast.

This summer when protests began to take shape across the country following the alleged murder of George Floyd at the hands of a police officer after he was arrested on May 25, Porsha stepped into the shoes of her late grandfather, Civil Rights pioneer Rev. Hosea Williams, and has become an activist in the Black Lives Matter movement.

Additionally, Porsha has appeared in several specials on Bravo over the summer, including on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen: @ Home in a two-part special with comedian and activist W. Kamau Bell, the Instagram Live series Amplify Our Voices: An Open Dialogue on Being Black in America, as well as Race in America: A Movement Not a Moment.
